A Thank You From My Heart: What Your Tips Truly Mean
This is something I have wanted to say for a long time.
In my profession, gratuities are never expected — but they are always deeply, deeply appreciated.
When you leave a tip after your appointment, it’s more than just an extra few dollars. It is a gesture that says, “I value your work. I trust you. I appreciate the care you give.” And after more than 20 years in this field, that feeling still humbles me.
Tips are very much a meaningful part of my income. As a small, independently run practice, every bit of support makes a difference. Your generosity helps me keep my pricing fair and manageable. It helps offset rising supply costs, equipment maintenance, and the countless behind-the-scenes expenses that come with running a professional office.
But it also does something more personal.
Those little extras allow me to reinvest in the space — upgraded equipment, better lighting, more comfortable treatment settings, improved tools, and sometimes even those small indulgences that make the office feel warm and welcoming rather than clinical and cold. The cozy touches. The thoughtful details. The things that make your time here feel cared for.
When you tip, you are supporting not just me, but the entire experience of Anne’s Electrolysis.
I never take that lightly. Not ever.
Your trust, your loyalty, and your generosity are the reason I have been able to do what I love for over two decades. I see it. I feel it. And I carry a great deal of gratitude for it.
From my heart — thank you.
Michelle and Ann
